Every gift to the Philolexian Foundation is tax-deductible. Funds support the student Society, the awards program, and the Quest for Halls.
The Foundation maintains extraordinarily low operating costs — every member of the board is a volunteer. Last year, the Foundation's total operating expenses were under $400 (filing fees, bank fees, and the like). Everything else went either to fund student activities directly or was added to the Foundation's savings.
The Foundation accepts gifts in any amount and via any of the methods below. The most common gift is a one-time online contribution; recurring monthly gifts are equally welcome and meaningfully easier for the Treasurer to plan against. For larger or more complicated gifts (appreciated securities, charitable IRA distributions, donor-advised-fund grants, or planned bequests) please see the Planned Giving page or write to the Treasurer through Contact.
A monthly gift of any size compounds into stable annual funding for the Society. The Foundation can accommodate any amount.
